I Am Coming- The Dead Sea

Although I don’t like to travel in hit travel spots, I will not skip the Dead Sea. Here comes some tips to share with you when you go travel in the Dead Sea.

Dead Sea is the safest sea ever to swim in – if you can ever dive deep enough to swim that is. It basically feels like you’re being thrown to a sea of jelly that keeps your body above the water level. It may take a while to get used to but you can never experience the same anywhere in the world.

Protect your feet by wearing water shoes, as there is rough salt at the bottom of the Dead Sea which is sharp enough to wound you. Remember to take a photo and put it on Facebook when you are wearing the shoes, you will find yourself very cute.

Dead Sea is not really a sea, it is a lake with 30% salt. It is the lowest place on Earth, as it is 417 feet below the sea level. You must try having spa there in the hotels as the elements in the ‘water’ of the Dead Sea are famous for skin care and they assist respiration.

Speaking of the mud, the aforementioned spa treatment actually wraps the visitors by the Dead Sea mud and a blanket on top of it. The treatment lasts for total of 20 minutes when one may find himself lonely in the room, others may feel like being made into a mud bun.

There are three things you should remember, do not shave for at least two days before you get in the Dead Sea, do not get in the Sea if you have wounds, do not let your face touch the water so as to protect your eyes. Keep these in mind or else you will experience a very painful holiday.

Remember to wear old swimsuits because the water will decolorize your clothes. Moreover, you should wash your clothes thoroughly after you enjoy your day in the Dead Sea. If not, you will find a big mark on your clothes!

If you wish to have a whole body skin care treatment, then you may consider to stay longer in the Dead Sea, otherwise, you are not recommended to stay there for a long time as there is actually not much to be discovered. If you are determined to stay there for a longer period of time, please ensure that you have found some places to live. Enjoy yourself over there with mud all over your body!
