Correct Astigmatism
Astigmatism is something we can now correct astigmatism naturally. Isn’t that exciting? Being able to read and watch TV with equal clarity is fantastic. NO MORE EYEGLASSES! I’m sure you don’t believe me but if you keep on reading this article, you just might become a believer.
Astigmatism has two common causes. An irregularly shaped cornea or an irregularly shaped lens, called corneal astigmatism and lenticular astigmatism respectively. These conditions can be corrected by wearing corrective lenses, either contacts or glasses. Also, natural vision improvement methods have been used to correct astigmatism very successfully. The most common visual problem people have is astigmatism.
Are you nearsighted or farsighted? Then you probably suffer from astigmatism. If it is not too far advanced, you probably don’t even notice it. You might notice some slightly blurred vision or a few headaches, but that would be the only symptoms. However, if it is advanced, you notice frequent headaches, more blurred vision and eyestrain.
Astigmatism in children can go undiagnosed because children don’t complain about it. They’ve not had anything to compare it to so they don’t know any different. Once they have an eye exam and it is diagnosed, they can correct astigmatism with eye strengthening exercises. After that, they may do better in school and sports.
If the child has not had an eye exam, you may notice that they squint when looking at something at a distance, or they cock their head to the side and only use one eye.
We inherit many things from our family. Astigmatism is not one of them. It happens when the cornea of your eye is oblong rather than round. Light focuses on two points in your eye instead of one. Scar tissue from an eye injury is another cause of astigmatism. You can’t blame that on anyone, it just develops in some people…
