Mr. Frey is correct that Nachi was forced to change it's name. The statement that all you need do to become a member of Inachi is to send a check indicates a lack of understanding of the requirements Inachi has. Testing (albeit unproctored and internet administered) and educational courses must be taken prior to acceptance. Maybe the applicant can get away with a dishonest approach, maybe not. The fact remains that of any association the opportunities for education available through Inachi are superior to any other organization.

FYI - due to recent court cases, NACHI is now called INACHI after NAHI sued and won for name infringment. Your blog makes no sense in that at first you say you will recommend only NACHI "certified" inspectors then go on to say ASHI has the highest standards. Personally I believe that ASHI is the premier organization. Point in fact - NACHI "certified" simply means that you send Nick Gramiko a check for $$$ and "verify" you have done XX inspections with no follow up on their part. ASHI on the other hand verifies all inspections were done and meet their standards.
